Information
Building on my previous menu, this one adds sliding doors techniques to the drop line sub menu and has a further drop line description such that when you hover over a sub line tab you will get a line of text centered beneath the sub line which can be used for anything you like. This suffers from the same problem as the previous menu when increasing text size in Firefox, but is ok in all other browsers.
Again I have shown three styling options:
- The basic drop line menu without any pre-selected links.
- Showing how to add the style to indicate a top level selected link. This will show the drop line for the chosen top level link.
- The last showing how to style a top level link and a drop line link.
This menu has been tested and works in IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Mozilla, Safari (PC).
- Download pro_droptab.zip containing the html for the three menu options, external stylesheets and all images.
