A drop-line cascading menu v2

11th October 2006

Information

A variaton of the previous drop-line menu. This time with just one drop-line but using a 'sliding doors' type of top level link.

Most useful when you only have a few items in each drop menu and do not want to encroach too much onto the area below the menu.

For all those visitors who want to know where to find the css and xhtml for these menus:

  1. Look at the source code. Most browsers allow you to do this either by right clicking on the page and selecting 'view source code' or by a drop down menu at the top of the browser.

  2. The style is in between the <head> ... </head> and is the same for IE and non-IE browsers. This will work on IE6, IE7 RC1, Firefox 1.5.0.7, Opera 9.01

  3. The xhtml is in the body of the page between <div class="menu"> ... </div>

Please note that you will also need a standards compliant !doctype for this menu to work correctly.
